Flower City Arts Center is a vibrant creative hub supporting makers across ceramics, printmaking, photography, papermaking, digital art, and more. Their ceramic residency program hosts 2-4 residents, providing private basement-level studios separate from the main public spaces—allowing for focused, uninterrupted work.
The center also features a gallery and shop for exhibitions, including an acclaimed annual ceramic pottery invitational that attracts top potters nationwide. Visiting just after classes ended and before the holiday rush, the space was quiet, well-organized, and efficiently used within its unique setting inside a historic firehouse.
