Location: Seagrove, NC

Length: Long Term: 1-2 years

Kilns: 2 Electric kilns, 1 converted electric reduction gas kiln and 1 Anagama to be built fall 2024 - all high firing range

Expenses: Materials and firings

Funding/Stipend: None

Workspace: Semi-private, personal studio space

Responsibilities: 8 hrs/wk studio maintenance and work in the gallery 2 days/wk (artist is able to work in their studio when no patrons are in the gallery)

Number of Residents: 2 artists

Additional Opportunities:

• Program is “self-titled” to provide the artists the opportunity to construct their experience to what the artist wants and provide “resume gap filler” experience

• Opportunity to sell work in the gallery - Triangle takes no cut in gallery sales

• Learn how to sell and talk about personal work

• Learn being comfortable in being independent and competent in artist’s pursuits and goals

• A full booth set up is available to be borrowed and used for local art fairs and sales

• Promotion and visibility opportunities on the Triangle Studio Instagram and promotions

• Access to and participation in Seagrove community events

• Work scheduling is flexible and understanding to personal circumstances
