Location: Red Wing, MN
Length: Short Term: 2 or 4 weeks (May-October) — There are 3 residency programs including Early Career Artist (September), Deaf Artists (May), and Public Artist
Housing: Each resident is provided with a room in the beautiful historic Tower View residence. Rooms are equipped with either queen or twin beds, a desk, a dresser, a large closet, and a comfortable chair. Rooms have either private bathrooms, or a bathroom shared with one other resident. Linens and towels are provided, and the house is cleaned and linens changed weekly.
Kilns: Anderson Center does not own on-site ceramic kilns: residents may coordinate with ceramic artists renting studios on campus for potential electric kiln access, or arrange firings through Red Wing Arts, a local community art center.Expenses: Residents must bring all materials needed during the residency.
Funding/Stipend:
All food is provided (A chef is on hand 5 days a week to cook dinners and groceries are provided for all other meals)

Workspace: 15’ x 26’ studio
Responsibilities: Residents are asked to do one community outreach event (ie. visit schools, senior centers, civic organizations, adult and juvenile detention centers, and other arts institutions in Red Wing and it’s nearby rural communities)
Number of Residents: 5 artists (2 visual artists) at a time; approximately 34-40 residents per year

Anderson Center is a diverse interdisciplinary arts organization. Facilities include a darkroom, a printmaking studio, an open-air forge, practice space available for dancers and choreographers, two grand pianos, and three libraries
Create connections within artist cohorts, as well as with other creatives and community members in Red Wing. The goal of Anderson Center is that these relationships outlast the duration of the residency visit
Located on 350-acre historic Tower View campus, adjacent to the Cannon Valley Bike Trail, a 20-mile biking and walking trail that runs from Cannon Falls to Red Wing. Anderson Center is also approximately 45 minutes southeast of Minneapolis and St. Paul, nestled amidst the scenic bluffs of the upper Mississippi River
