Length: Long Term: 1 year or longer

Kilns: -up to ^6

  • 1 Olympic 3031 HE electric kiln

  • 1 Barlette electric kiln

  • 1 medium electric kiln

  • 1 small test kiln

Expenses: Material and firing cost

Funding/Stipend: None

Workspace: 6’ x 6’ private studio space

Responsibilities:

  • 5 hours/week of studio work hours that include but not limited to gallery install and de-install, a rotating First Friday shift, Fist Friday clean up, and studio clean up

  • Minimum of 15 hours/week dedicated to resident artist’s personal studio practice

Number of Residents: 2 artists at a time

Additional Opportunities:

  • Workshop and class teaching opportunities (paid)

  • Solo exhibition in WCS’s gallery

  • Sales representation

  • Photo booth available for resident use

  • An intimate space with strong community ties

  • WCS occasionally partners with The Clay Studio of Missoula for shows and workshops

  • Wildfire Ceramic Studios hosts a variety of shows and sales throughout the year
