Length:
General Residency Program: Short Term: 3, 4, and 6 weeks (length of residency will be based on the artist’s proposals, expressive medium, and availability)
Artist Work Exchange Program: Short Term: 4-6 weeks (May-September) (work part time doing housekeeping for the inn, paid hourly)
Housing: A private room in a shared 3 bedroom apartment with a kitchen and bathroom located behind the inn.
Kilns: (fire up to ^8)
2 Electric kilns
1 Raku kiln
Expenses: Firing and materials fees
Funding/Stipend: None
Workspace: 24/7 access to an assigned studio/workspace on the east end of the art residency building.
Responsibilities:
Residents are asked to donate a top quality piece of work indicative of their practice for display in the Inn’s permanent collection.
Artist Work Exchange Program residents are paid hourly for 16-25 hours/week doing housekeeping for the inn, and are otherwise free to pursue their creative projects during their stay.
Number of Residents: Up to 3 artists
