Length: Short Term: “Artist of Color Summer Residency” - 1-3 months - June-August — Long Term: 1 year - September 1-August 31

Kilns: 20 cubic foot soda kiln, 5 electric kilns, and 3 Bailey gas car kilns with electronic controls for both reduction and oxidation firing at high-fire cone 10: 54 cubic foot; a 32 cubic foot and an 18 cubic foot
Expenses: None
Funding/Stipend: Short Term: $2,500/month stipend towards housing, materials and expenses — Long Term: $75/month for firing and material cost and $800/month housing assistance
Workspace: Private 90 square foot studio space
Responsibilities: Short Term: None — Long Term: Minimum of 20 hours/week in personal studio practice, 5 hours/week assisting with technical jobs at Mudflat and 2 public presentations during the residency
Number of Residents: 1 artist

Dedicated time to achieve residency goals such as developing teaching experience through running a workshop, developing a solo show during your time at Mudflat, or dedicating your time to creating a body of work

Long term: solo exhibition and reception at Mudflat in July to showcase work created during the residency year
